The following information about Bill has reached us via the "electronic grape vine":

"Bill retired 2 years ago and since then has spent more time at Billy Chinook Lake and spent two winters in Arizona. He keeps busy fishing, hunting, yard work and learning to golf. ..Looking forward to the reunion in August."

Bill Elder told Lee Hart that he took his apprenticeship with and worked about 15 years for C. J. Hanson Company in Salem as a sheet metal worker. After that, he worked for another 15 years for Artic Sheet Metal Company in Portland before he retired.
