Davis, Donald Maynard

Donald Maynard Davis was born on April 19, 1936 to Don M. Sr. and Esther Enlow Davis in Long Beach, California. He died at home where he lived with Callie Ann Jacobsen on the morning of February 26, 2002. He is survived by Callie Ann and many friends who loved him. His family moved to Silverton when he was a child where he attended Silverton schools. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Most of his life was spent logging in Southeast Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing and tending his garden. For several years, Don suffered from diabetes and heart trouble. At Don's request, there was no funeral service.
