Woody worked for Vic David, who owned an amusement and vending machine company known as: Keystone Amusements, which was located at 609 North Water St. in Silverton. Woody bought the business from Mr. David in 1978.
Woody and his first wife were divorced in 1969. They have one son.
Lila Penn and Woody were married in 1973. Woody and Lila have traveled to Florida, England, France, Germany and most of the United States. Woody and Lila retired from the amusement business in 1997; but, woody still goes and fixes machines occasionally.
Lee Hart sent some rememberances of Woody:
"I spent some very pleasant time with Woody while we were classmates at Silverton. He worked at Vic's business after school and week ends. I went there many times to listen to music on juke boxes and play pin ball. Being blessed or cursed with a fascination for all things mechanical, I was intrigued by all those machines, switches, wires and gadgets that were in the shop where Woody worked. His expertise at repairing those machines is a special talent. I was amazed at how he could make sense out of all those parts. We had some fun times."
